Well and truly thriving in his solo status, multi-instrumentalist DJ and producer Fred V swoops into 2021 with his two-track single ‘Icarus / Reaching Dawn (feat. Victoria Voss)’. Having carved his enchanting and uplifting niche on the drum & bass scene in 2020, Fred continues to mesmerise with new single ‘Icarus’, sending spirits soaring close to the sun. With his debut solo album on the horizon for the summer of 2021, it’s shaping up to be a special year for Fred V.

Warming pianos, futuristic synth work and euphoric vocal atmospherics ease ‘Icarus’ in before beaming into a crescendo which sees an electrifying reese bass paired powerfully with energising drums creating the ultimate dancefloor sonic masterpiece that will quickly establish itself as a staple powerhouse drum & bass anthem.

Teaming up with Stockholm-based singer and environmental scientist Victoria Voss, ‘Reaching Dawn’ is the embodiment of Fred V’s elevating sonic identity. Dreamlike vocals, cutting edge drum synthesis and enticing melodies instil a sense of ecstasy and hopefulness through the power of music.
